Serene Innovations HD40P Photo Phone

Photo/picture dialing helps with cognitive needs
The Photo Phone Dialer HD-40P Amplified Photo Phone has Hi-Definition Sound (HDS) for better listening enjoyment. There is up to 26dB of Amplification for mild hearing loss, tone control so you can adjust for your own individual listening needs and 9 one-touch photo memory buttons. These photo dialing buttons make dialing easy - whether you just like seeing photos of family and friends or there is a cognitive memory need. There is also a high performance speakerphone so more than one can hear the conversation at a time, or you can proceed with cooking, etc. while listening. Speakerphones are also handy for those with hand tremors as such as occurs with Parkinson's and Essential Tremors. A speakerphone is also useful for anyone who has weak arms or tender hands from arthritis, making holding a phone for an extended period of time a chore.

Isolation is a serious problem for the elderly
Photo phones can help prevent isolation in the elderly and disabled living alone because it makes it easy to call family and friends and gives amplification so they can hear better.

Does this phone have jacks?

Great phone September 29, 2013
Reviewer: Sheryl Miller from Lansing, MI United States
My mother has memory problems.  The first night we set it up for her, she proceeded to push nearly everyone's programmed button at least once.  She had gotten to the point of not calling family much because she couldn't remember their number.  This phone gives her the freedom to call family as much as she wants.  She absolutely loves the phone!  She has only mild hearing loss.  The amplified hearing is too much for her now, maybe not in the future??  Just beware that the amplification is quite loud, right now she has it turned off.  The ability to change the tone of the call is fabulous!
