The Serene Innovations HD60J Jumbo Key Amplified telephone has not only 55+ dB of amplification, but also the high-Definition Sound Technology gives this amplified phone unmatched clarity, making it the standard in amplified telephone technology.

This amplified phone for seniors/elderly with hearing loss or anyone with hearing loss, has Selectable Digital Tone Setting which lets you boost and enhance the speech frequencies that you can't hear well.  For example many people have a problem with high frequencies - this will help them understand those words and sounds better.

A senior product with off-hook alert that alerts with special loud rings and bright flashes for the elderly that have a problem with getting the receiver hung up properly.  This helps prevent accidental blocking of incoming calls.  The PRE-SET Boost switch on the underside of the phone is also useful for seniors/elderly
because you can pre-set the boost amplification volume.  When the Amplifier switch is set to On the amplifier will come on automatically and return to the previous level setting every time you lift the receiver.  When set to OFF, the amplifier will not come on automatically.

My elderly mother has difficulty hearing, especially on a telephone.  With the Serene Innovations HD60J Jumbo Key Amplified Phone, she is able to see the numbers to dial by herself and she is able to hear clearly.  Really nice phone.  Nice "phone is off the hook" feature, too.
