Geemarc Ampli1100B Amplified Corded Hard of Hearing Phone has an adjustable loud ringer. The AMPLI1100B is an AFFORDABLE amplified desk or wall mountable phone with extra volume boost and tone and is suitable for mild to moderate hearing loss.  Making outgoing calls is EASY with 12 one-touch direct-dial memory buttons.

This phone for seniors also has a Pre-Set Boost Override which means there is a switch or button on the phone that when activated will stop the amplification or "boost" button from resetting every time the receiver is put back into the cradle.  Every time the Geemarc Ampli1100B hard of hearing phone with loud ringer is picked up the pre-set amplification level will be there for the incoming voice.

This phone is line-powered meaning it does not need an AC adapter or batteries.  The Geemarc amplified phone also has tone control and a visual ringer. 

NOTE:  The Geemarc Ampli1100B hard of hearing phone with loud ringer is line powered.  This means it gets it electrical power from the telephone lines.  Generally only one amplified line-powered phone can be used at one time due to the fact that amplified phones pull more electricity.  If you need to be able to have two people using amplified phones at the same time, we recommend getting a phone that is not line-powered and comes with an AC adapter which then gets power from electric outlets.   If you only have one amplified phone then a line-powered phone is sufficient.

Warning:  It is recommended that the Boost Override be turned off if there is more than one person in the household that would use the phone.  When using Boost Override the higher level of amplification would always be on.  If a normal hearing person picks up the phone with high amplification it could damage their hearing.
