The ClearSounds CSC1000 also has eight (8) one touch photo memory buttons, which makes it a great senior product for seniors/elderly that may be having some memory problems, or those with early Alzheimer's. Others just like the sentimentality of seeing photos of their family or friends on the phone.
Phone allows up to 6 rings before answering machine picks up - allowing those who walk and get out of a chair slowly due to advanced age, disabilities or simply just busy people to pick up the phone before going to the machine.
This phone also has high quality speakerphone, allowing you to continue with what you were doing, cooking, typing on the computer or whatever when the phone rang. You won't sound like you are down in a well with this speakerphone.
NOTE: Even though this is NOT a basic, simple phone, this is one of the easier phones with an answering machine, although it may still be too complicated for some elderly persons. Use your curser on the photo to see more clearly and make it larger - look at how many buttons there are, how they are named too see whether it is too complicated for an elderly person.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Although this is one of the easier phones with an answering machine for seniors, we do NOT necessarily recommend this phone for the elderly 80+ with memory issues and an inability to understand more complicated technology.
