The Clarity P400 is an amplified photo phone designed for seniors and elderly.  This amplified big button phone has adjustable amplification up to 26dB (decibels).  The Clarity P400 has 9 (nine) photo-dial memory buttons that can be programmed for most important called numbers.  The photos are easy to set up or change.  There is a Photo Template to use as a guide to cut the photos.  You don't have to use just photos of people who are relatives or friends, you could also use photos of a fire truck, doctor, policeman and more.  Symbols can also be used as well or just typing or writing out the name and telephone number - it is your choice.  Sometimes if the photo phone is used for someone with early Alzheimers or memory impairment for example, a photo of a fire truck might work better than the words fire department or a fire symbol. 

The Clarity P400 amplified photo phone also has a loud ringer adjustable up to 75dB (decibels) according to the needs of the user.  There is also a visual ringer that is advantageous in a dark room.  Frequently when a phone rings at night people may accidentally knock items off of their nightstand trying to find the phone in the dark.  This phone lights up making it easy to see. 

We recommend that anyone that wears a hearing aid also have an amplified phone next to their bed.  The hearing aid is removed at night, leaving the hard of hearing person with impaired hearing during emergency phone calls at night. 

The Clarity P400 big button phone is desk, table or wall mountable for your convenience.  This amplified photo phone also has a Pre-Set Boost Switch on the bottom of the base of the phone.  When set to ON - the Boost will be on anytime a call starts and defaults to ON every time the phone hangs up.  When the Boost is switched to OFF the Boost button will be off every time a call starts.  There is also a Hold button which can be very convenient feature when you need to talk to someone else without the caller hearing the conversation.

NOTE:  We do not recommend using the Pre-Set Boost Switch to keep the amplification on all the time if normally hearing persons will also be using the phone. If a normally hearing person uses a phone with high amplification it can damage their hearing.  This option is best in a single person household.

NOTE:  This is a line-powered phone.  This means it gets its power from the telephone lines and you may not be able to use 2 (two) amplified phones at the same time because there wouldn't be enough power available for two amplified phones to be used simultaneously.  If you need to routinely use two amplified phones at the same time for example talking to family members, then you would need to purchase a phone that uses an AC adapter which gives adequate power to use more than one amplified phone at a time.   Ships to Canada

    ON – When the Boost ON/OFF switch is PRE-SET to “ON”, the Boost function will be ON every time a call starts, and will remain ON every time the phone hangs up.
    OFF – When the Boost ON/OFF switch is set to “OFF”, the Boost function (Clarity Power) will be OFF every time a call starts, and the user will need to press the BOOST Clarity Power button in order to gain the extra level of amplification. If the phone hangs up, the Clarity Power will reset to OFF.
