The Clarity D704 Big Button Amplified Cordless Phone is the next generation amplified cordless phones by Clarity.  This cordless phone has the biggest keypad on any cordless phone.  The keys are contoured with a soft-touch material for comfort.  The Clarity D704 big button cordless phone has a backlit keypad that is easy to read at night and also a visual ringer that allows you to easily find the phone in a dark bedroom, and the Caller ID screen has large fonts and high contrast for easy readability. 

This is a 1.9GHz DECT 6.0 phone.  What does DECT mean for you?  DECT 6.0 is a technology that provides voice encryption to protect you from eavesdropping.  DECT 6.0 phones are also more energy efficient, and the battery life is up to 30% longer.

This big button cordless phone is expandable up to 5 handsets.  This allows you to have phones in multiple rooms for the ultimate convenience, and no running to grab the phone.  There is an extra loud speakerphone in the handset, and voicemail indicator.  The Clarity D704 comes with an AC adapter which means it has enough power for you to be able to use 2 or more amplified phones at once.  This is a nice feature when more one person wants to be in on a conversation - perhaps talking to the children or grandchildren.  Line powered phones with no adapter get their power from telephone lines, and you may not be able to use two handsets at once.

The Clarity D704 amplified cordless phone is hearing aid compatible.  It goes beyond this rating to include TIA -1083 compliant which means this phone gives superior hearing aid compatibility.  The Clarity big button cordless phone provides amplification of 40dB (decibels) for mild to moderate hearing loss. 

Another benefit of the Clarity D704 big button cordless phone is that the volume control is on the front of the phone.  Some cordless phones have the volume control on the side of phone, causing accidental pressing of the volume control when holding the phone.
